Hostel Rules and Regulations | Dunman High School Hostel

2.1	Dunman High School Hostel has its own rules and regulations. All boarders are expected to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the hostel management. The hostel management has the authority to punish boarders for non-compliance of hostel rules and regulations.
2.2	Male boarders are not to enter the female’s rooms and vice-versa. Offenders will be expelled.
2.3	Boarders must sign attendance at the point of entry and exit of the hostel premises.
2.4	CURFEW HOURS Boarders who fail to abide by the curfew hours is subject to the hostel disciplinary actions.
2.5	COMPULSORY STUDY TIME (PREP TIME) Boarders are to observe the compulsory study time (PREP TIME) from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.Boarders are to remain in the rooms or study areas during the PREP TIME.
2.6	Cooking in the room is not allowed at all time. Food must be consumed in the dining hall or pantry.
2.7	Hostel furniture must not be moved without permission.
2.8	Boarders shall be considerate and do not make noise or disturb the rest of others.
2.9	Boarders shall not have in their possession unsuitable/unacceptable print and non-print materials.
2.10	All boarders are encouraged to participate in the hostel activities organised for them.
3	Pantries Users should adpot a high hygiene standard when using the pantry inculding the refrigerators.
4	Toilet Facilities Boarders are responsible for keeping the toilet environment clean and pleasant.
5	Cleanliness of Room Boarders are responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of their own rooms. Boarders are required to clean their rooms regularly.
